Macdonald Crutherland House, East Kilbride

My stay at this hotel was quite disappointing. The rooms were not up to standard, with cleanliness issues and outdated decor. The dining experience was frustrating due to poor service and a lack of organization. While the staff tried their best, the overall experience did not live up to expectations, especially for a spa-focused retreat.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. The room I was in was quite spacious and clean, but I was moved there due to an overbooking and it was right next to the laundry room, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The service was decent, though occasionally slow, and while I found the location to be peaceful, it felt a bit isolated. The dining options were underwhelming, particularly the breakfast, which was cold at times. Overall, it's a decent place if you find a good deal, but there are areas that definitely need improvement.
